Cameron and Tyler Winklevoss have partnered with Bitcoin podcaster Peter McCormack to bring Real Bedford FC to the English Premier League.

The Winklevoss twins, through their investment firm WinkleVoss Capital, have invested $4.5 million worth of Bitcoin in to support McCormack's Real Bedford Football Club (RBFC).

The funding will be used to establish a Bitcoin treasury for the club, protecting it from long-term fiat debasement.

McCormack expressed his gratitude for the investment, stating that it will help with the club's infrastructure and growth.

The funds will also be used to develop a new training center and support girls' and youth football.

RBFC, based in Bedford, United Kingdom, aims to accept Bitcoin for game day tickets, merchandise, sponsorships, and beverages.

McCormack envisions the club competing in the English Premier League alongside renowned clubs like Manchester United and Chelsea.

However, he acknowledges that they have a long way to go and is focusing on one league at a time.

The Winklevoss twins share McCormack's dream of bringing RBFC to the top league in the UK.

They believe in Bitcoin's potential to propel RBFC's journey to the Premier League.

In addition to their involvement with RBFC, the Winklevoss twins have recently made headlines for their philanthropic efforts.

They donated $4.9 million to the Fairshake super political action committee, which supports political candidates who are friendly towards cryptocurrencies in the upcoming US elections.

This donation demonstrates their commitment to advancing the adoption of digital currencies and supporting individuals who share their vision.
