MetaMask, the popular Web3 wallet, has announced a new integration with Daylight, an onchain project, to provide users with the ability to verify their eligibility for airdrops.
Consensys Software Inc., the developer behind MetaMask, stated in a post on X that they have partnered with Daylight to assist users in determining if they qualify for any airdrops within the ecosystem.
In a blog post, MetaMask also highlighted the usefulness of this integration, stating that users can now easily check if they have missed out on any valid airdrops from their favorite decentralized applications (dapps). To do so, they simply need to navigate to the "Eligible Airdrops" section.
To provide a comprehensive eligibility check, MetaMask's Explore page now includes a feature that suggests unique NFT recommendations based on various social factors. These factors include being on an allowlist, holding a required token or a related token, and even considering if the user has minted a different token from the same creator or if an NFT was minted by someone they follow on Farcaster, among other criteria.
This eligibility verification for airdrops and NFT claims is available across multiple networks, including Ethereum, Optimism, Arbitrum, Base, Zora, and Polygon. With this integration, MetaMask aims to enhance the user experience and ensure that users are aware of any valuable opportunities within the ecosystem.
