Blast Ethereum Layer 2 launched its
mainnet on Feb 29, 2024. Now it has $40 million TVL, mostly in a lending
platform ZeroLend ($28 million) and a decentralized exchange Thruster ($4 million).
Users can bridge ETH, USDC, USDT,
stETH, WETH, and DAI from Ethereum mainnet to Blast L2.
Blast launched its testnet on Jan
17,2024.
Blast founded by Tieshun Roquerre also known as Pacman the founder of Blur NFT marketplace.
Blur secured funds from investors such
as Paradigm. BLUR token currently ranks 91st largest crypto by
market cap. It has $1.035 billion market cap and $2.156 billion fully diluted market cap.
Blast airdrop
Blast plans to have an airdrop in May 2024. The airdrop will distribute to Blast’s developers and users.
