BlackRock's IBIT Spot bitcoin ETF hits $10 billion in assets under management

On Feb 29, 2024, BlackRock's IBIT Spot bitcoin ETF hit $10 billion in assets under management in just 7 weeks after it launched and began trading.

 

In terms of bitcoin numbers, BlackRock's IBIT fund has over 162,000 BTC under management, while Fidelity's FBTC has 105,000 BTC ($6.3 billion).

 

There are about 150 of the 3,400 ETFs with over $10 billion in assets under management.

 

Ark Invest 21's ARKB is ranked 3rd with 34,000 BTC ($2.1 billion) in assets under management.

 

Meanwhile, Grayscale's GBTC fund has seen assets under management drop 30% to just 432,000 BTC ($27 billion) from approximately 619,000 BTC ($38 billion) since the Spot bitcoin ETF began trading.
