The Open Network Foundation is allocating 30 million Toncoin tokens for community rewards in various areas, including token mining, airdrops, developer ecosystem support, and liquidity pool boosts.

According to the report published on March 20, incentives will be distributed in four areas: $38 million will be used for token mining and user incentives, $22 million will be used for airdrops, $15 million will be used for collaborative ecosystem development, and $40 million will be used for token mining and user incentives.

The foundation will distribute 30 million Toncoins over a period of 1 month, starting from April 1, which will be equivalent to approximately 115 million dollars.

This initiative aims to engage users and developers within the TON ecosystem, coinciding with the launch of the Telegram Ad Platform on the TON blockchain.

It was released in March 2024. The platform allows Telegram  owners around the world to earn money, simply selling ads and sharing the revenue with channel owners on TON.

Token was first created by Telegram, but development of the messaging app was halted in May 2020 following a  legal battle with the SEC.

Telegram, with over 900 million users globally, is considering an IPO, with Pavel Durov hinting at offering priority access to loyal users, while the TON token has seen significant growth in the past year, trading at $4.12.
