MetaMask announces to users are able to "purchase and transfer Ethereum via PayPal"

PayPal, a digital payment platform, has partnered with ConsenSys, MetaMask's parent company, to enable MetaMask users to purchase and transfer Ether through PayPal's platform.

As announced on December 14, this service will only be launched initially for selected PayPal users in the United States, as the country is one of MetaMask's largest markets in terms of end users.

The partnership aims to enable users to seamlessly purchase and transfer ETH from PayPal to MetaMask by simply logging into MetaMask's Mobile app, which will redirect them to their PayPal account to complete the transaction.

Lorenzo Santos, Product Manager at MetaMask, said: "By integrating with PayPal, it will allow our U.S. users to not only seamlessly buy crypto through MetaMask, but also easily navigate the Web3 ecosystem."

PayPal is one of the traditional payment companies that integrates crypto services into their services and seeks to make it easy for users to interact with the crypto ecosystem.
