Uniswap opens users to purchase cryptocurrency using a credit, debit card, or bank transfer

Uniswap, a decentralized trading exchange, has partnered with Moonpay to enable users to purchase cryptocurrency on the Uniswap Web App using debit or credit cards, and bank transfers at the best rates in Web3.

According to an announcement on 20, December indicated that users are able to convert from fiat to crypto onto Ethereum mainnet, Polygon, Optimism, and Arbitrum, and start swapping in minutes!

Uniswap hopes this latest release will also help streamline the onboarding process. "There are no spread fees in USDC, the lowest processing fees in the market, and immediate access".

MC Lader, Chief Operating Officer at Uniswap Labs, said: "User experience is a major barrier to the adoption of decentralized technology, and improvement is critical for Uniswap. The better and safer the user experience will be."

Supported blockchains include Arbitrum, Ethereum mainnet , Optimism and Polygon, with supported tokens at launch being: DAI, ETH, MATIC, USDC, USDT, WBTC, and WETH.
