Taiko is an
Ethereum-equivalent (Type 1) ZK-EVM that is maximally compatible with Ethereum.
It doesn’t require additional compiling, reaudits, or tooling. Taiko is a based rollup, meaning the transaction sequencing on Taiko is done by Ethereum validators. This design ensures robust security guarantees from the base layer.
