Base leads in daily stablecoin transaction volume accounts for 30%, surpassing Solana and Ethereum

Base blockchain outpaced all other networks in stablecoin transfer volume for the first time on October 26, 2024.

 

Peter Schroeder on X: "For the first time ever, @base led all chains for total stablecoin transfer volume in a single day. On October 26th, Base processed 18.1B+ in stablecoin transaction volume (99.9% was in USDC) accounting for over 30% of all stablecoin transaction volume that day.


On October 26, Base processed over $18.1 billion in stablecoin transactions, with 99.9% of these transactions in USDC. This record-breaking figure accounted for more than 30.09% of the global stablecoin transaction volume on that day.

 

Solana followed closely, securing 25.01% of the total volume, while Ethereum took third place, handling 19.98% of stablecoin transactions. According to data from Artemis.

 

Stablecoin is one of the payment methods in the digital economy. The data highlights Base's rapid growth and increasing dominance in the stablecoin market, positioning it as a significant player in the blockchain ecosystem.
