On December 18, 2022 Voyager Digital Ltd. announced that it made agreement to let Binance.US acquired its assets for $1.022 billion. Binance.US outbid other bidders such as CrossTower, Wave Financial, and INX.
On September 2022 FTX won the bid to buy Voyager for $1.42
billion. Binance.US also wanted to acquire Voyager but lost to FTX during that
period. FTX’s bankruptcy make Binance.US be able to acquire Voyager.
It’s still a long process. Binance.US will acquire 3.5
million Voyager’s customer accounts. Voyager
is still under court’s process. The court decision of how much each account
will get fund return is still waiting for final verdict.
