According to Montenegro's media, vijesti; the High Court in Podgorica ruled that Do Kwon will be extradited from
Montenegro to South Korea to
face criminal prosecution for several criminal offenses relating to the collapse of Terra.
Previously, the Court of Appeal overturned the High Court's decision to extradite Do Kwon to the US.
Do
Kwon and Han Chang-joon were arrested on March 23, 2023 at the
Podgorica airport when they used forged Costa Rican passports during at attempt
on a flight to Dubai.
The U.S. and South Korea both requested his extradition. But the Montenegrin authorities
decided Kwon to go to South Korea instead
of the United States.
