Shopify has expanded its support for NFT tokens, most recently allowing millions of merchants to start designing, minting coins, and selling Avalanche NFTs.
By using Venly, Shopify allows merchants to sell NFTs "using a minimum of technical knowledge," according to the press release. In addition, buyers do not need an existing digital wallet and will instead receive an email with a link to the newly created blockchain wallet.
"This makes it easier to sell Avalanche NFTs from the beginning of the design to the final distribution," said John Nahas, vice president of business at Ava Labs, developer of the Avalanche blockchain.
E-commerce giant Shopify first launched its integration with NFTs in July 2021, allowing merchants to sell NFTs directly from their stores instead of selling through third-party marketplaces like OpenSea or Magic Eden. The platform also launched an NFT collection with the Chicago Bulls team from the NBA.
They can mint and list NFTs through their existing storefront through one of Shopify’s blockchain apps. According to Venly’s support, those NFTs can now be minted on Avalanche, related to this NFT Minter(Avalanche) application. For a 14-day free trial, let’s check it out.

"Our growing blockchain ecosystem demonstrates a commitment to supporting merchants when they sell NFTs directly through storefronts, and it increases engagement in Web3 and expands commerce possibilities," said Christina Lomazzo, Head of Shopify's Blockchain Ecosystem.
