Revolut is a European fintech company
founded in Great Britain. It is now delisted ADA, SOL, and MATIC on its platform.
Last month these 3 cryptocurrencies were also delisted from Robinhood.
The US Securities and Exchange Commission is putting
regulatory crackdown on any cryptocurrencies that are not Bitcoin, LiteCoin,
Ethereum, or Bitcoin Cash. The SEC has claimed that SOL, MATIC and ADA are
securities.
US customers can hold ADA, SOL, MATIC until
September 18. After September 18, Revolut wll sale ADA, MATIC, and SOL
remaining in US customer accounts for US dollars. It will have an effect only
with US customers. Revolut does not delist these 3 cryptocurrencies in other
markets.
