Radiant Capital got hacked for $4.5 million

On Jan 3, 2024 cross-chain lending platform Radiant Capital got hacked for 1,900 ETH ($4.5 million).

 

Radiant Capital supports 3 blockchains including Ethereum, BNB Chain, and Arbitrum. It got hacked from a flash-loan-based upon launching the newly created native USDC market on Arbitrum on Jan 2, 2024.

 

According to Certik Alert, the attacker inflated the liquidity index and then exploited the “rayDiv() during deposit and withdraw to drain the lending pools.

 

Radiant has temporarily suspended lending and borrowing market on Arbitrum.

 

Radiant currently has $298 million total value locked.

 

As of Jan 4, 2024 RDNT tokens have market cap of $134 million and fully diluted market cap of $314 million. It ranks 290th largest crypto by market cap.
