Michael Saylor Bought 2,500 Bitcoins

Michael Saylor, MicroStrategy’s chairman of the board of director bought more bitcoins. In an 8-K filing MicroStrategy submitted to the United States Securities and Exchange Commission said that MicroStrategy bought 2,500 BTC during December 2022. The company increased bitcoins holding from 130,000 BTC as of October 31, 2022 to 132,500 BTC as of December 27, 2022.

 

MicroStrategy Bought 2,395 BTC

Between November 1, 2022 and December 22, 2022, the company bought 2,395 BTC for $42.8 million in cash; at average price of $17,871 per BTC.

 

MicroStrategy Sold 704 BTC

MicroStrategy sold 704 BTC for cash on December 22, 2022 worth $11.8 million. At the price of $16,776 per BTC.

 

The company began acquire bitcoins since 2022 and never sold any bitcoin since then. However, this is the first time MicroStrategy sells bitcoins. It citing that the sale happened because of tax purpose.

 

MicroStrategy Bought 810 BTC

It bought 810 BTC on December 24, 2022. At average price of $16,845 per BTC.

 

MicroStrategy now holds 132,500 BTC
