Magic Eden, an NFT marketplace that focuses on Solana blockchain
raised $130 at a series B round at 1.6 billion valuation. It became third NFT
unicorn, the other two unicorns are Opensea and LooksRare.
The series B round closed on June 21, 2022, led by Electric Capital,
Greylock Venture. Other venture capital firms included Lightspeed Venture
Partners, Paradigm, and Sequoia Capital.
Magic Eden is holding 97% NFT trading on Solana. It wants to use
funds from Series B fund raising to expand into multi-chains NFTs and expand
into building a marketplace for blockchain gaming industry.
