total of 3,766 ether worth $10.46 million in 2024. This consistent selling has
been part of their strategy, with sales occurring approximately every 11 days.
Despite these sales, the price of ETH
has remained relatively stable, currently around $2,610.
As of the latest publicly available
information, the Ethereum Foundation held approximately 0.3% of the total
supply of Ether (ETH). This figure was disclosed in the Foundation's public
reports and transparency updates. Given that the total supply of Ether as of
2024 is around 120 million ETH, this means the Ethereum Foundation holds
approximately 360,000 ETH.
The last major update, which came in
April 2022, indicated that the Ethereum Foundation held $1.3 billion in assets
(0.3% of total ETH supply), of which 99.1% was held in cryptocurrency,
including about 80% in ETH.
