On November 1, 2024, BNB Chain completed its 29th quarterly token burn, eliminating 1,772,712.363 BNB worth about $1.009 billion from circulation. This burn includes 1,710,142.733 BNB million BNB from the Auto-Burn mechanism and 62,569.63 BNB as an adjustment for previously omitted BTokens.
The goal is to reduce the total supply
to 100 million BNB, enhancing scarcity and potentially increasing the token's
value.
