Polygon, a scaling solution for Ethereum launched second testnet on its zkEVM. zkEVM solution is more than just a scaling solution for Ethereum. It is compatible with Ethereum Virtual Machine.
zkEVM is scaling solution that is fully EVM compatible. The first public testnet of zkEVM launched in October, 2022.
This second testnet tests the new upgrade called Recursion. It can expand scalability exponentially. zkEVM has 90% cheaper gas fees than Ethereum, it can process 2,000 transactions per second. It can use and compatible with Ethereum decentralized applications.
zkEVM mainnet will go lives in early 2023.
