Fidelity filed for a Spot Ethereum ETF

On November 18, 2023, Fidelity an American multinational financial services company filed for a Spot Ethereum ETF. Another company that previously filed for a Spot Ethereum ETF is Blackrock.

 

Blackrock and Fidelity have filed for both Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs. These Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs are exchange-traded funds that track the value of BTC and ETH on stock markets rather than cryptocurrency exchanges.

 

Cryptocurrency ETFs allow stock investors and institutional investors to trade or invest in cryptocurrencies through traditional exchange markets.  Fidelity has $4.5 trillion of assets under management.

2. 21Shares & ARK under ticker ARK 21Shares Ethereum ETF.

3. Hashdex under ticker Hashdex Nashdaq Ethereum ETF.

4. Grayscale under ticker Grayscale Ethereum Trust.

5.Invesco & Galaxy under ticker Invesco Galaxy Ethereum ETF.

6. Blackrock under ticker iShares Ethereum Trust.

 

Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs approval could come in 2024, these ETFs will increase trading volume of BTC and ETH.
