American multinational financial services company filed for a Spot Ethereum
ETF. Another company that previously filed for a Spot Ethereum ETF is Blackrock.
Blackrock and Fidelity have filed for
both Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs. These Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs are
exchange-traded funds that track the value of BTC and ETH on stock markets
rather than cryptocurrency exchanges.
Cryptocurrency ETFs allow stock
investors and institutional investors to trade or invest in cryptocurrencies
through traditional exchange markets. Fidelity
has $4.5 trillion of assets under management.
