reported that a crypto education project called XIRTAM rugpulled 2,000 ETH ($3.5
million). XIRTAM transferred 1,900 ETH of raised fund to a Binance account.
More than 4,000 people invested in the project which raised 2,000 ETH ($3.5
million) during the presale.
CultDAO a decentralized venture capital
platform is one of the investors in XIRTAM. CultDAO made 13 ETH investment through
#157 proposal. Cult DAO ranks 636th largest crypto by market cap. The
price of CULT drops 11.7% from $0.000005235 to $0.000004619 between April 28 to May 5. Many
investors invested in the project partly because they follow CultDAO
investment.
From the latest report Binane has
frozen the transferred fund of 1,900 ETH. Binance security team is
investigating this issue. It needs to be follow up how would Binance manage the
fund. One of the solutions is to return the money back to investors.
