Uniswap is officially live on BNB Chain,
the deployment
follows a successful governance proposal that Uniswap
DAO voted 66% in favor to expand Uniswap V3 to BNB Chain. The vote casted in
February 2023. According to defillama, PancakeSwap is the largest DeFi platform
in BNB Chain with $2.47 billion in total value locked. Follow by Venus, the
second largest DeFi with $772 million TVL.
Uniswap has $3.23 billion TVL in
Ethereum network. It now exists on 6 different blockchains include Ethereum,
Arbitrum, Polygon, Optimism, BNB Chain, and Celo. BNB Chain offers cheaper
transaction fees when compare to Ethereum blockchain. BNB Chain is a fork of
Ethereum, so it is EVM compatible. Uniswap is a decentralized exchange that let
users to provide liquidity to the exchange and users earn rewards from staking their
coins and tokens in the liquidity pools.
