U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs have collectively surpassed the estimated 1.1 million BTC holdings of Bitcoin's pseudonymous creator, Satoshi Nakamoto.

As of December 6, 2024, these ETFs hold 1,104,534 BTC, making them the largest holders of Bitcoin in the world.

BlackRock's IBIT leads the pack with 521,375 BTC, followed by Grayscale's GBTC with 251,330 BTC and Fidelity's FBTC with 199,246 BTC.

The combined assets under management for these ETFs exceed $100 billion, driven by $33 billion in net inflows since their launch in January 2024.

Bitcoin's 130% price surge to above $100,000 has propelled the total assets under management (AUM) of these ETFs to over $100 billion.

Satoshi’s estimated 1.1 million BTC remain unspent, with analysis suggesting they were mined in the early days of Bitcoin using the “Patoshi Pattern.”

At current prices, these holdings are valued at over $100 billion, placing Satoshi theoretically among the world’s wealthiest individuals.
