In the announcement, shib developers shared information about the Layer 2 blockchain, highlighting that Shibarium is being developed as a tool that allows communities to build and expand projects and fulfill the founders' vision. On the other hands, someone also believe creating Shibarium was a way to raise the price of meme tokens, but the developers insisted that this was not the goal.
"Patience is key, and some people see Shibarium as a price-boosting tool, but that's not the focus of the project and it's never been there before."
According to the
developers, the goal of the new update in the infrastructure is to
"revolutionize the Shiba ecosystem" by removing barriers to entry
into small transactions, upgrading speed, and enabling the development of
decentralized applications and NFT tokens.
Although the developers did not specify an exact date, the team reiterated that the answers to all questions related to the time frame of the launch are "coming soon."
