that used zkEVM-based zkRollup technology to implement layer 2 solution. It
processes transactions off-chain and succict them on the Ethereum base layer.
It is EVM compatible. Scroll received $50 million funding at $1.8 billion valuation
from Polychain Capital, Sequoia China, Bain Capital Crypto, Moore Capital
Management, Variant Fund, Newman Capital, IOSG Ventures and Qiming Venture
Partners. Scroll was founded in 2021 by Haichen Shen, Sandy Peng, and Ye Zhang.
