Sam Bankman-Fried Requests Court To Drop Up To 10 Criminal Charges Except 3 Charges Remain

FTX founder and former CEO Sam Bankman-Fried (SBF) has sought a court acquittal of 10 criminal charges against him, arguing that he is not guilty on many charges.

According to court documents filed in the Southern District Court of New York on May 8, SBF's legal team has asked the court to dismiss all charges except these 3 charges include:

5. Conspiracy to commit commodities fraud

6. Conspiracy to commit securities fraud and

11. Conspiracy to commit money laundering

The reason SBF requests court to dismiss up to 10 criminal charges and he wants to defend only 3 criminal charges because additional charges were added after Bankman-Fried’s extradition agreement was made.
