PancakeSwap has recently launched the play-to-earn game called "Pancake Protectors," a tower defense game with a significant reward of up to 10,000 CAKE for the top-ranked players.

On May
29th, PancakeSwap, a decentralized exchange (DEX) market, announced the launch
of "Pancake Protectors," a play-to-earn (P2E) game powered by the PvP
protocol of GameFi Mobos.
Pancake
Protectors is a tower defense (TD) game where the primary objective for players
is to defend the land by strategically placing defenses on the assigned map.
Pancake
Protectors promises to be a unique P2E game as it integrates the original
token, CAKE, allowing players to utilize it to acquire in-game characters. This
provides additional benefits such as enhanced exchange capabilities, superior
attributes, improved hero abilities, and many other functions.
Furthermore,
players can unlock various levels of the Battle Pass and Privilege Card by
using CAKE. They can also use CAKE to purchase in-game currency and gift
packages. Additionally, players have the option to stake CAKE to receive
additional resources.
Regarding
the rewards, Pancake Protectors will provide a special reward of up to 10,000
CAKE in the first season. The rewards will be distributed through the player
ranking system, with the top 1,000 players receiving prizes. The first-place
winner will receive 1,000 CAKE, while players ranked from 801 to 1,000 will
receive 0.1 CAKE.
Therefore,
the higher a player's ranking, the greater the chance of winning rewards of up
to $1,700 per season, assuming the price of CAKE remains at $1.7.
While
Pancake Protectors offers players the opportunity to earn rewards while playing
the game, it is not yet clear if it will reach the level of popularity achieved
by games like Axie Infinity or Plant vs. Undead. These two games are renowned
for attracting millions of players to the cryptocurrency market.
