Losses From Atomic Wallet Hack Are Over $100 Million. The Exploit Came From North Korea’s Lazarus Group

A report from Elliptic’s investigation shows that Atomic Wallet users lose over $100 million with 5,000 wallets have been hacked.

 

Elliptic is a leading blockchain analytics provider. The report from Elliptic’s blockchain investigation shows ten crypto addresses have lost more than $1 million, and 164 have lost more than $100,000. The average loss is $2,800.

 

So far, no progress has been reported from the atomic wallet. The last announcement was on June 8, it stated that Atomic Wallet is tracking the stolen funds.

 

Elliptic believes that the exploit came from North Korea’s Lazarus Group. Lazarus Group stole $100 million from 5,000 wallets.
