Shytoshi Kusama, head of developer Shiba Inu, has provided an update on the upcoming launch of the Layer 2 network Shibarium, with in a recent Telegram message Kusama telling "the community to get popcorn ready", a message that has sparked hope in the Shiba Inu community that the launch of Shibarium may take place soon.

There has been speculation about a launch date that could be Valentine's Day, and the community is eagerly waiting to see what Kusama and his team have prepared.
And as launch day draws to a close. The Shiba Inu community is also awaiting further announcements from the development team.
Shibarium is
an exciting development for the SHIB community and could have a significant
impact on token adoption and use due to the ability of layer 2 solutions to
make faster and cheaper transactions.
