Do Kwon,
who is being investigated in multiple countries for fraud related to the
Terraform Labs, is set to face trial in Montenegro on May 11 for attempting
to travel with a forged passport. According to information from the court's
website.
Kwon was detained
on March 23 at Podgorica airport along with Terraform Labs Chief Financial
Officer Han Chang-joon, who have since been incarcerated in the country. They were
trying to go to Dubai using fake passports.
Kwon has
received extradition requests from both the United States and South Korea.
Prosecutors accused him of fraud and other offenses related to the collapse of
the Terra-Luna stablecoin project.
