Arbitrum, the Layer 2 scaling solution for Ethereum, announced the Airdrop of ARB tokens on March 16, with eligible recipients expecting to receive tokens by March 23. This has caused excitement in the community, and has also helped other Layer 2 solutions, such as zkSync, to gain traction by airdrop speculation.

ZkSync is another layer 2 scaling solution for Ethereum, which supports NFT and Atomic swaps and Ether transfers and ERC-20 tokens within the Ethereum network.

According to analytics firm Nansen, more than 39,000 addresses have bridged more than $871 million to zkSync in the last seven days, with the number of addresses connected to zkSync up by 5x in the last week.

zkSync and StarkNet are considered the most expected and probably most likely Airdrops. As a result, on March 17, nearly 5,000 people deposited more than 536 ETH using zkSync bridge, and nearly 3,000 users deposited more than 234 ETH using the StarkNet Bridge.

Although zkSync does not yet have its own tokens or airdrop release announcements, with the buzz surrounding Arbitrum's Airdrop, many people believe they will receive the same reward in the near future.
