Aave, the leader in DeFi lending, is seeking to expand its reach to other blockchain ecosystems such as BNB Chain, Starknet and Polygon zkEVM.

On Monday, voting was started to enable Aave V3 on Starknet, with voting ending on April 11.

The proposal details the integration process between Aave and Starknet, with the first phase centered on the construction of a cross-chain bridge between Ethereum and Starknet, which has already been approved by the community.

This progress follows the community's previous certification of deploying the Aave V3 on the newly launched Polygon zkEVM network.

Marc Zeller, founder of the Aave-Chan Initiative, also proposed the deployment of Aave V3 on the BNB Chain, with the goal of expanding Aave's status to reach binance's blockchain-related user base and to increase revenue.

"This deployment aims to enhance the growth and collaboration between the Aave and BNB Chain communities, providing new opportunities for both ecosystems," the proposal states.

If approved, Aave V3 will deploy on the BNB Chain and allow BNB, WBTC, BETH, WETH, USDC and USDT to be used as collateral.
