On March 16, a hacker stole $197 million including $8.7 million in the DAI stablecoin, $18.5 million in Wrapped Bitcoin (WBTC), $135.8 million in Staked Ethereum (stETH), and $33.8 million in USDC from Euler Finance. The hacker hacked $197 million and transferred funds off from Euler Finance for several times. On March 18, the hacker return 3,000 ETH worth $5.4 million to Euler Finance's deployer address. Euler Finance offers a $1 million reward for providng information about the hacker. This incident is one of the biggest DeFi hack of 2023.
