$35 Million That Have Been Stolen From Atomic Wallet's Users Are Being Laundered Through sinbad.io

According to on-chain detective ZachXBT, the hacker stole $35 million from many Atomic Wallet users. The $35 million lost including $7.95 million in USDT. The five largest lost value $17 million. The single largest lost was $2.8 million.

On June 5, blockchain compliance analytics firm Elliptic reported $35 million have been hacked from Atomic Wallet users were sent to a crypto mixer website called sinbad.io as a part of money laundering by the hacker.

 

Elliptic’s investigations team is tracking the transactions, and found out that the stolen funds are being swapped for Bitcoin, before being laundered through the sinbad.io mixer.

 

 Crypto mixing services have been used by many hackers for money laundering.
