On Thursday afternoon, MAYC peaked on OpenSea with a 13% increase in trading volume over the past 24 hours, with the collection's floor price around $17.5 ETH, or about $25,000, a cheaper price for those looking to join the Bored Ape ecosystem.
ON THE BAYC SIDE, THE FLAGSHIP COLLECTION. According to OpenSea, floor prices are around 78 ETH ($111,000), while BAKC collections for BAYC holders have seen a 46% increase in trading volume in the last 24 hours.
Volume increase It comes after parent company Yuga Labs announced that it will soon mint a "Sewer Pass" NFT, which existing BAYC or MAYC NFTs holders can get for free. Moreover, BAKC NFT holders can also pair their pets with BAYC or MAYC NFTs, which allows them to create a "sewer pass with a higher level," according to Yuga Labs.
The Dookey Dash
can be played an unlimited number of times by Sewer Pass holders until the game
ends on Feb. 15, meaning Sewer Passes will be able to be traded on the
secondary market. This allows those outside the Bored Ape ecosystem to
participate as well.
